Eyre Western Police are at the scene of a truck fire on the Nullarbor.
Just before 2.30am, Monday 20 March, a truck towing two trailers carrying general freight, caught fire on the Eyre Highway. The driver was able to escape the blaze without injury however the fire spread to both trailers.
The truck and trailers have been completely destroyed.
The highway is completely closed however crews are expecting to have one lane open later this morning.
The fire is not suspicious, and damage is estimated at around $100,000.
