Police Appeal To Locate Missing Woman At Blue Mountains 10 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing in the Blue Mountains.

Olga Tchernobryvko, age 38, was last seen leaving her home on New South Head Road, Double Bay today (Friday 10 May 2024).

About 6am, she is believed to have caught a bus to Bondi Junction then boarded a train towards the Blue Mountains to go for a bush walk.

The woman was reported missing about 2.30pm to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate her.

With the assistance of Blue Mountains Police Area Command and Police Rescue a coordinated search is underway in the Springwood area.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Olga is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build, with short blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper, black tights, black head scarf, black shoes and carrying a white bag with a flower on it.
