Police Update: Serious Assault Investigation in Mount Mee, QLD

Two people have been charged following the serious assault and attempted murder of a man in Mount Mee on May 1.

It will be alleged emergency services were called to a Mclean Road property around 8.30pm following reports of an assault.

Upon arrival, a 23-year-old Eagle Farm man was located with critical head injuries. He was transported to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

A 21-year-old local woman was charged with 10 offences, including attempt to murder, common assault, deprivation of liberty, disabling in order to commit indictable offence, grievous bodily harm, observations or recordings in breach of privacy genital or anal region, serious assault of police officer, torture, wounding and unlawful possession of weapons category A/B/M.

She was due to appear before Caboolture Magistrates Court yesterday and is due to appear next today, May 3.

A 23-year-old local man was charged with nine offences, including attempt to murder, common assault, deprivation of liberty, disabling in order to commit indictable offence, grievous bodily harm, observations or recordings in breach of privacy genital or anal region, torture, wounding and unlawful possession of weapons category A/B/M.
