Northern Territory Police have arrested an additional 2 males in relation to recent violent disturbances in Daly River.
The alleged offenders were arrested earlier today and are expected to be charged with weapons, property and violent conduct offences.
Additional police support has been deployed into the community since the violent disturbances began on Tuesday, which now includes local officers, crime detectives and members from the Territory Response Group and the Territory Safety Division.
Acting Superintendent Erica Gibson said ” This brings the total arrest number to 6. We believe we have now arrested the main instigators of the disturbances.
