NSW Government

The extra bus services will provide customers more choice when travelling around the Inner West and to the Sydney CBD.

From Sunday 25 October 2020, nearly 1000 extra bus services will improve travel times and direct services in the Inner West. This will include more frequent services each Sunday.

Key bus services include:

  • new all-day limited stops services via Parramatta Road between Abbotsford, Burwood and the CBD
  • new direct services from Rodd Point, Haberfield, Leichhardt and Lilyfield to the CBD
  • almost 200 additonal services on Sundays to Concord, Five Dock, Harold Park, Dulwich Hill and Newtown
  • additional weekly services on 14 Inner West routes including 348, 389, 412, 413, 420, 423, 428, 433, 440, 445, 464, 470, 502 and 504.

The M10 and M50 bus services from the Inner West to the Eastern Suburbs will be withdrawn and replaced with new routes and additional services.

The launch of the new timetable and other services including the light rail will provide faster travel times for customers travelling to the Eastern Suburbs.
