The Territory Government’s $2 million Creative Industries Sector Immediate Response and Resilience Program (CISIRRP) in reprioritised funding is providing the arts, creative and screen sectors with immediate support to navigate the impacts of COVID-19.
Through CISIRRP, the Screen Industry Support and Content Development Program will deliver $1 million to the screen industry throughout three funding rounds in 2020-21.
Round 1 applications are now open and will close on 29 June 2020.
The funding program will safeguard local screen content development and creativity through support of the established Northern Territory screen sector and the upskilling of emerging local screen practitioners.
Focusing on the development of production-ready content, the program will ensure business continuity and continue to support local screen businesses, which will be key to the sector’s recovery.
