20 years republic defeat

Australians for Constitutional Monarchy

To mark the 20th anniversary on 6 November of the defeat in 1999 of the ‘inevitable’ republic, ACM is releasing exclusive interviews with John Howard and Tony Abbott.

The interviews explode the myths advanced by republicans blaming Howard for their defeat.

To be shown at the 20th National Conference at Sydney’s Parliament House on 6 November. they can be seen now at www.youtube.com/monarchyaustraliatv

The father of the winning movement will be revealed at the Conference, as well how a sleek machine defeated, on the smell of an oily rag but through a disciplined campaign, Malcolm Turnbull’s wealthy republican movement supported by so many celebrities and multi-millionaires, most politicians and a campaigning mainstream media.

Experts will assess the value of the Howard/Minchin process for all future proposals constitutional change as well as the only reason republicans now advance to justify change to some republic they’re still keeping under wraps.

Michael Kirby will deliver the Oration named in honour of the late and great indigenous Senator Neville Bonner and he’ll deliver credentials to an impressive group of Young Ambassadors for the Crown Constitution and Flag.
