2019 NT Sport Integrity Symposium

Northern Territory Peak Sporting Bodies will have the opportunity tohear about current sport integrity issues and how to apply strategies to combatthem at the 2019 Northern Territory Sport Integrity Symposium held on Wednesday,4 September 2019.

The symposium is a joint initiative between the Department of Tourism,Sport and Culture, NT Police and AFL NT aimed at sharing specialist informationand evidence-based education, and strengthening cooperative partnerships.

It will offer presentations from identified subject matter specialistsin law enforcement and Australias leading sports agencies, as well as CricketAustralia and the AFL Integrity and Security Units.

The symposium provides an opportunity for the NT Sport Integrity Networkmembership to meet, learn and work together to build strategic partnerships.

The 2019 NT Sport Integrity Symposium is a platform through whichspecialist subject matter experts will share information around sport integrityissues such as illicit drugs, sport supplements, doping, match fixing, illegalbetting activity, member protection, safeguarding children and criminalassociation.

The symposium is a joint initiative between the Department of Tourism,Sport and Culture, NT Police and AFL NT aimed at promoting the integrity ofNorthern Territory sport.

The Northern Territory Government is committed to fostering andsupporting the highest standards of conduct, honesty and ethical behaviour inall NT sporting activities, both on and off the playing arena.
