2023 results for Years 11 and 12 students

More than 11,300 senior secondary students will receive their 2023 end-of year results today from the Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC).

Minister for Education, Children and Youth, Roger Jaensch, congratulated Tasmania’s Year 11 and 12 students on their results.

“These results recognise your hard work and study achievements throughout the year,” Minister Jaensch said.

“The senior secondary school years are a time of transformative growth, expanding your knowledge and skills in preparation for future study, training and employment.”

All senior secondary students are emailed their 2023 course results progressively from this morning, with all students also being sent a printed copy of their results and certificates via mail.

Students from across the State have excelled in their studies achieving outstanding Tertiary Entrance Score results.

Minister Jaensch said the TASC Outstanding Achievement Awards will be held in January, celebrating state-wide student achievement and excellence.

This will include the outstanding commitment to vocational education and training demonstrated by exceptional VET students who also achieved their TCE, and the academic achievement of students who achieved an ATAR of 99.5 or above.

“All our senior secondary students can feel truly proud of their commitment, growth and achievement this year and look forward to a well-deserved holiday break,” Minister Jaensch said.

“There are many options for Tasmania’s young people to pursue the further learning and careers that they most enjoy and are excited about.

“I encourage students to talk with their teachers about what you want to do next and explore their tertiary study options and other pathways to where they want to be.”
