21 charges for Delahey motorcyclist

Brimbank Police have arrested a motorcyclist following an attempted intercept in St Albans on Friday night.

It is alleged the rider, a 32-year-old Delahey man, was driving erratically before police intercepted and arrested him on Kings Road about 3.00pm.

Police conducted a search and his backpack was found to contain a significant amount of drugs, cash and a firearm.

The Delahey man was charged with 21 charges including traffick methyl amphetamine, heroin and ecstasy, unlicensed driving, possess firearm and various other charges.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on 1 April.
