A Message of Thanks from David Elliott MP

Today is Wear Orange Wednesday – a time for the community to put on a pop of colour to show their appreciation for our State’s incredible 9,000 NSW SES volunteers during National Volunteers Week.

It’s been a mammoth year for the NSW SES, with over 3,000 volunteers deployed during our worst ever bush fire season, following by torrential rain and flooding, with over 30,000 jobs completed since the beginning of the year.

With the winter storm season fast approaching, it’s a timely reminder that the work never stops for NSW SES – be sure to say thank you if you find yourself needing the assistance of a NSW SES volunteer.
