Atlas Advisors Australia is encouraging Australian and Chinese investors to take part in an inspiring and unique cultural investment opportunity that celebrates multiculturalism.
Atlas Advisors Australia Executive Chairman Guy Hedley said he was excited by the prospect of a new project underway for a new Museum of Chinese in Australia.
The museum is in initial planning phase with the board seeking to raise funds from interested investors.
“Atlas Advisors Australia is keen to support projects that have both strong investment potential and promotes a greater understanding about the contribution Chinese people have made to Australian society,” Mr Hedley said.
“The Museum will play an important role in recording and preserving the history and heritage of Chinese Australians for younger generations while recognising their unique contribution to evolution of Australian society and promoting a greater understanding of the identity and culture of Chinese Australian people.
“Atlas Advisors Australia encourages investors to be a part of this project.”
The Museum’s board is chaired by John Yu AC, the former Australian of the Year and the deputy chair is Stephen FitzGerald AO, the first former Australian Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China and.
Mr Fitzgerald said the Museum would have a unique collection and research, giving communities, here and abroad, the opportunity to discover more about the remarkable contribution of Chinese Australians to the 200-year history of our nation.
“Located in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant Chinatown district, the Museum will be established as a not-for-profit organisation,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
“The board is actively seeking an executive management team to deliver the project.
“Along with preserving important cultural sites, archives and objects relevant to Chinese Australians, the Museum will record the oral history of Chinese settlers and their descendants as well as work with other organisations to promote the study of Chinese communities around the world.”
