This weekend the ABC is heading to Las Vegas in the USA to bring audiences all the action live from round 1 of the 2024 NRL Telstra Premiership.
Ahead of the games, Roy and HG will be back on Saturday with their first episode of Bludging on the Blindside for the year. They’ll be counting down to the season openers and casting an eye over the teams as they prepare for the games in the city of sin.
On Sunday 3 March our expert commentators Andre Moore, John Gibbs and Ryan Hoffman will lead the game coverage from Allegient Stadium in Las Vegas with coverage starting at 12pm AEDT ahead of the Manly Sea Eagles taking on the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Coverage will then roll into the second game when the Sydney Roosters take on the Brisbane Broncos.
These games kick off another huge year for ABC SPORT coverage of the NRL. In 2024, the ABC will bring audiences every game from the 2024 NRL Telstra Premiership on ABC Local radio and ABC listen. This year, our coverage will extend to include live blogs of all major NRL matches including the finals and the State of Origin series.
