ACCC
The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation to Qantas Airways Ltd and American Airlines Inc in respect of their aviation alliance on trans-Pacific routes. Similar arrangements between Qantas and American Airlines have been authorised since 2011.
The ACCC proposes to grant authorisation for 5 years.
The ACCC is now seeking submissions in response to the draft determination by 17 September 2026, before making its final decision.
