Acrobatic, high-energy comedy leaps into Potato Shed

Celebrated Australian performance troupe Circus Trick Tease is promising to have the adrenaline pumping as it brings its latest show, ‘WERK IT’ to Drysdale’s Potato Shed on July 22.

Launching in 2008, Circus Trick Tease has been touring internationally for 10 years, winning nine awards and playing to three sell out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The company’s latest performance, ‘WERK IT’, is a high-energy, acrobatic comedy romp, celebrating spandex, high-vis., vitality and vigour and is coming off a season of standing ovations with its composition of never-seen-before acrobatic feats and jaw dropping skill.

Featuring outrageous circus acts by Australia’s hottest acrobats, including award-winning Vincent van Berkel (Can’t Face), hula hoop sensation Lisa Lottie (Neon), manipulation idol Richard Sullivan (Jugg Life), real life strong woman Cassia Jamieson (NICA) and acclaimed creator/director Malia Walsh (Circus Trick Tease), the cast members present a circus show that is equal parts skill, thrill, and comedy.

We’re really proud to be bringing ‘WERK IT’ to the Geelong region, particularly following its success as the highest selling show at the recent Sydney Arts Festival. Along with featuring some of Australia’s leading circus performers, ‘WERK IT’ will really appeal to an audience that can appreciate the sounds of an iconic late 80s and 90s soundtrack. It promises to be a lot of fun.
