An acting sergeant from southern region has been charged with misconduct of public official following an internal investigation.
The charges relate to an incident which occurred between 2017 and 2020, while the member was on and off duty.
The 40-year-old man has been charged with two counts of misconduct of public official.
He will appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
