Adelaide man arrested for alleged online child grooming offence

A 29-year-old man from the south-western suburbs of Adelaide has been charged with an online child grooming offence. He was arrested by detectives from the South Australia Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA-JACET), which comprises of members from the Australian Federal Police and South Australia Police.

Police will allege the man groomed a child over an 11 month period over the internet. He was charged with making a child amenable to sexual activity, pursuant to s 63B Criminal Law Consolidation Act 1935 (SA).

The man was granted police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate Court on 1 May 2019.
