Aggravated burglary – Wannanup

Mandurah Detectives are seeking public assistance with their investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred in Wannanup today, Wednesday 7 October 2020.

Just after 8am a man forced his way inside a house, just off Regent Drive, assaulted the occupant, a woman in her 20s, before searching the home for property for items to steal.

The woman received minor injuries.

The man is described as about 180cm tall, olive skinned, aged in early 30s, muscular build, short brown hair (slightly ginger), brown messy beard.

He was wearing a black hoody, plain grey track-pants, black sneakers and black motorcycle gloves.

Around 7.30am, just prior to the burglary, a vehicle was sighted numerous times in the street. It was described as a black VZ or VY model Holden Commodore Ute with loud exhaust system.

Anyone who may have been in the Regent Drive area at the time of the burglary, who saw a man matching the above description or has dash-cam footage of the area at the time of the burglary or has footage of a black ute, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
