Aggravated burglary with car stolen in Craigieburn

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in Craigieburn this month.

An unknown man broke into the garage of a premises on Ben Loman Circuit while the male victim and his family were asleep inside the house at about 3:00am on 12 January.

The suspect stole a set of keys from the garage, before stealing a Holden Clubsport V8 with a distinctive blue wrap, registration BOSHA, which was parked on Ben Loman Circuit.

The suspect had been driven to the scene in a white Kia Cerato by an unidentified female.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, tall, with a thin build and tattoos on his left ankle and inner calf.

The stolen Holden Clubsport was sighted in the vicinity of Cooper and High Streets, Thomastown on 12 and 13 January 2021.

Investigators have also released images of the stolen Holden Clubsport. At the time of the theft, the car had a distinctive blue wrap. The offenders have since removed the wrap revealing the original red colour, have removed the registration plates and rear spoiler, and have also replaced the rear wheels with stock rims.
