Aggravated robbery at Thompson Beach, South Australia

Police are investigating an incident at Thompson Beach overnight where a car crashed into a house, a woman was car jacked before her car was stolen and burnt out.

Just after 12.20am Sunday 5 January police were called to Heron Crescent after reports that a white Holden sedan had crashed and become wedged under a stilt house.

Four suspects allegedly ran from the scene before approaching a woman nearby, also on Heron Crescent, who was in a white Suzuki Swift.

The four suspects, three men and a woman, allegedly got into the woman’s car and demanded she drive them away. The 26-year-old victim drove the suspects to Port Wakefield Road, just north of Dublin, where she stopped the car and jumped out.

The suspects then took the car from the victim which was last seen driving South on Port Wakefield Road. Thankfully the victim was not physically injured.

Just after 2.40am the white Suzuki Swift was found on Camira Way, Salisbury North completely gutted by fire. Police searched the area but did not locate the suspects.
