Aggravated robbery Davoren Park, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred at a shop at a Davoren Park shopping centre late this morning (Tuesday 16 July).

Just after 11.30am patrols were called to premises on Peachey Road, after a man armed with a small knife entered a shop and threatened a staff member.

The staff member received a minor injury during the incident.

The suspect left out the rear door with an amount of cash. He was seen riding south on Peachey Road on a blue coloured pushbike. A second male suspect was waiting at the front of the shop. He was last seen walking west through the nearby school.

The first suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his mid 20s and about 170cm tall. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and a black cap.

The second suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid 40s, with black hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black tracksuit pants and black thongs.

A search of the area failed to locate the men and investigations are continuing.
