Major Crash Investigation Section officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Alfred Cove yesterday, Friday 3 June 2022.
About 4.50pm a Toyota Hilux was being driven out of a shopping centre car park, turning west onto Canning Highway, near North Lake Road. At the same time an 83-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the highway at a pedestrian cut out in the median strip. The vehicle and pedestrian collided.
St John Ambulance attended and the 83-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died.
The 52-year-old male driver of the Toyota Hilux was not injured.
