Allens Chairman’s term extended to 2024

Allens has reappointed Fiona Crosbie as Chairman for a further four-year term, as the firm embraces continuity of leadership through an exciting and historic chapter ahead, including celebrating 200 years in 2022.

Commenting on the re-appointment, Managing Partner Richard Spurio said that the extension of Fiona’s term was enthusiastically endorsed by the firm’s partners.

‘Fiona’s leadership of our Board, and her counsel and guidance to the broader partnership and firm over the past four years have been instrumental to our success.

‘I know that Fiona’s drive and unwavering commitment to the firm’s values will be especially valuable in the coming period,’ he said.

‘I am delighted to continue serving as Chairman and to have the opportunity to play an active role in our relationships with clients, alumni, community partners and with the broader business community,’ Fiona said.

In addition to leading the Allens Board, Fiona advises clients in complex merger clearances, cartel and other competition and consumer law investigations, litigation and access matters.

Fiona’s appointment was effective 1 January 2021.
