Olam Orchards Pty Ltd faces two charges under section 21(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for failing to provide a working environment that was safe and without risks to health.
WorkSafe alleges the company breached section 21(2)(a) of the OHS Act by failing to provide and maintain safe systems of work.
It is further alleged the company breached regulation 109(1)(d) of the OHS Regulations by failing to reduce the risks associated with powered mobile plant colliding with pedestrians.
The matter is listed for a filing hearing at Mildura Magistrates’ Court on 10 June 2026.
