Andrew Gaze Olympic Games Uniform Donated To Lloyds Bushfire Relief Auction

The signed 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games uniform worn by Australia’s greatest-ever basketball player Andrew Gaze has been donated to the Lloyds Auctions Bushfire Relief Auction.

“Andrew Gaze is one of the most iconic basketball players in Australia and we are proud to be offering his signed uniform up for auction as part of our Bushfire Relief Auctions,” said Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer of Lloyds Auctions.

“For Australians when they think about the sport of Basketball, everyone remembers Andrew Gaze,” he continued.

The five-time Olympian from 1984 to 2000 has been the leading scorer for Australia in numerous Olympic and World Championship campaigns.

Playing more than 600 NBL games and the first Australian to ever play in the NCAA tournament final he is now a member of both the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame and the International FIBA Hall of Fame.
