This year Anzac Day falls on Saturday 25 April. There is no Anzac Day ‘long weekend’ in Victoria.
Yarra City Council service changes on Anzac Day include
- The Recycling Centre located at 168 Roseneath St, Clifton Hill will be CLOSED
- Our Customer Service Centre will be CLOSED
There will be no other service changes for Council services on Anzac Day.

If you’d like to commemorate Anzac Day this Saturday 25 April, you can to tune in to the dawn service live stream that will take you into the heart of the Shrine of Remembrance.
#STANDTO
This year, while we can’t go to the Shrine of Remembrance or a local Dawn Service, the RSL is asking us to #STANDTO.
At 6am as the Last Post is played during the dawn service, join others around Australia by walking outside and #STANDTO in your yard, driveway or on your balcony, and observe a minute of silence in respect of our veterans.
