Mornington Peninsula Shire is proudly supporting Anzac Day services at 12 local townships on Sunday 25 April 2021.
Anzac Day 2021 marks the 106th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 1915. The spirit of Anzac continues to play a role in the local community to this day, with its qualities of courage, mateship and sacrifice.
We encourage our community to commemorate Anzac Day safely so there are traditional dawn services, marches and remembrance services at different times and locations throughout the day. Anyone attending a local service will be required to follow COVID-safe guidelines as we pay tribute to those who have served and died in war.
For those preferring to watch the CBD Dawn Service and March from home, it will be livestreamed from 5.40am on Anzac Day. All Victorians can join online at shrine.org.au
Whether you attend a service or march, support your local RSL or observe a minute’s silence we hope you can commemorate safely as we pay tributes to veterans and active service personnel this Anzac Day.
