ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of those who have served in our defence forces.
Residents wishing to attend ANZAC Day services to pay their respects can do so at a number of commemorative events across the Yarra Ranges.

5.45am Dawn Service at the Lilydale Cenotaph (please assemble at 5.30am). Followed by refreshments at the Lilydale RSL in Anderson St. 6.30am – 11.00am The historic Athenaeum Theatre in Castella Street will be open. You are invited to view the WWI display and the war service records of locals in conjunction with the Lilydale and District Historical Society. |
5.45am Dawn Service at Mt Evelyn War Memorial Park, corner Wray Cres and Birmingham Rd, followed by a march to the RSL clubrooms. |
