Appeal after break and enter at Inverell

Police have released images of two men as they appeal for public information after a break and enter in Inverell yesterday.

About 4.15am yesterday (Tuesday 4 July 2023), two men forced entry into a business on Byron Street, Inverell, and stole jewellery and watches.

Officers attached to New England Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have released images of two men who police believe can assist with their inquiries.

One man is depicted in the images wearing a black hooded jumper and tracksuit pants with black and white joggers.

The other man is depicted wearing a black and white hooded jumper, black trackpants and black and white shoes.

Anyone who has information that might assist the investigation is asked to call Inverell Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Investigations are ongoing.
