Appeal after car fire in Sydney Olympic Park

Police are appealing for information following a car fire in Sydney’s west.

Just after 1am today (Tuesday 2 May 2023), emergency services attended the intersection of Olympic Boulevarde and Sarah Durack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park, following reports of a car fire.

The fire was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW; however, the vehicle was destroyed.

There were no reports of injuries.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the cause of the fire.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with two unknown males who may have been in the vicinity a short time before the fire started.
