Police are appealing for public assistance and dashcam footage after a man was found with serious injuries in Sydney’s south west.
About 11.40am today (Tuesday 28 September 2021), emergency services attended Cowpasture Road, Green Valley after receiving reports a man had been located with serious head injuries.
The 70-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
Initial inquiries indicate the man was riding a bicycle when he sustained the injuries.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash – or who may have dashcam footage from the area – to come forward.
