Appeal after reported indecent act while driving in Lidcombe

Police have released an image of a vehicle and are appealing for public information as investigations continue into reports a man performed an indecent act while driving at Lidcombe last year.

About 1.45pm on Thursday 13 January 2022, a man was seen naked and performing an indecent act while driving eastbound on Parramatta Road at Lidcombe.

The man was described as being of Caucasian appearance, with short hair and glasses, and driving a white Volkswagen sedan with black detailing and one headlight not working.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were contacted a short time later and commenced an investigation into the incident.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police have released an image of a vehicle similar to the one they believe was involved in the incident.

As investigations continue, police would like anyone who may have dashcam from the area about 1.45pm on Thursday 13 January 2022, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
