Appeal after robbery in Sydney City PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate an aggravated robbery in Sydney earlier this year.

Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were called to the corner of Sussex and Hay Streets, Haymarket, about 4.20pm on Monday 20 February 2023.

Police were told a man approached a 42-year-old woman at an ATM, and assaulted her, causing minor injuries, and stole an amount of cash, before running along Hay Street, towards George Street.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist investigators.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 35-45 years old, about 180cm tall, of medium build with short blonde hair and a dark moustache.

He was wearing light blue denim jeans, a black polo shirt, black shoes and a black baseball cap.
