Appeal after suspicious tattoo shop fire in Leumeah

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a tattoo shop in Sydney’s south-west last night.

About 10.00pm (Thursday 4 March 2021), emergency services were called to a tattoo shop on Bradfield Street, Leumeah, after reports of a fire.

The shop was closed for business at the time and there have been no reports of injuries.

A small fire was extinguished by Fire & Rescue NSW; however, the shop suffered minor damage and nearby businesses were not damaged.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the fire, which is being treated as suspicious.

As investigations continue, police are urging anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area or has dash cam footage, to come forward.
