Appeal after teen robbed at knife point in Revesby

Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery in Sydney’s south west yesterday.

About 6.50pm (Sunday 23 August 2020), a 16-year-old boy was walking on Bransgrove Road, Revesby, when a vehicle, described as a dark coloured Holden Barina with a Bulldogs sticker on the side, pulled up beside him.

A male exited the passenger side of the vehicle and demanded the teen hand over his belongings before threatening him with a flick knife.

The teen handed over his wallet, containing cards and a small amount of cash, and his mobile phone, before the man entered the vehicle and drove away.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation and would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern appearance, 18-19 years of age, 182cm tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, black ‘Nike’ hoodie and black pants.
