Appeal after teens robbed at Wagga Wagga, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after three teenagers were robbed in Wagga Wagga yesterday.

About 7.45pm (Friday 6 November 2020), three teenage boys, aged 16, were walking through a vacant lot between Dennis Crescent and Bruce Street, Tolland, when they were approached by a group of people, including four males and a female.

The female threatened the teens with a knife and the males punched them and stole a hat, sunglasses, mobile phone and earphones before fleeing towards Dennis Crescent.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended shortly after and commenced an investigation.

Two of the teens were conveyed to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for treatment to facial injuries.

As inquiries continue, police are hoping to speak with the five people involved in the incident, as well as anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything in the area

All five people are described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged between 16 and 18 years old.

The female is described as short, with a thin build, with dyed black blonde hair, tied in a bun. She was last seen wearing a pink jumper.

One male is described as short, with a sold build and was wearing a black bandana over his face, black sunglasses and cap.

The second male is described as tall, with a thin build, short black hair and was wearing a white shirt and shorts

The third male is described as being of medium build, with short black hair and was wearing a black, patterned face mask.

The fourth male is described as having short black hair.
