Appeal after two aggravated break and enters, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate two aggravated break and enters in the state’s south yesterday.

Between 2am and 4.30am (Monday 5 September 2022), a home on Marimba Circuit, Glenroy, was broken into by two unknown offenders, who stole a vehicle as well as wallets and bank cards.

The occupants – a 30-year-old man and 28-year-old woman – were asleep at the time and were not injured.

A garage 100m away on Wright Crescent was then broken into.

The 41-year-old female resident was awoken by the sound of rummaging. She entered the garage, with the two offenders then fleeing on foot empty handed to a car parked on Sarson Street.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and established crime scenes at both locations.

Police are now searching for the stolen vehicle – a Black Hyundai iX35 with Victorian registration ZVB 515.
