Glen Waverley police are appealing for public assistance after a man exposed himself in Wheelers Hill earlier this month.
Officers have been told a man driving a silver sedan flagged down a 39-year-old woman while she was riding her bike on Jells Road service lane about 10.30am on 5 April.
It is believed the man asked her for directions and while the victim was looking at directions on her phone, the man exposed himself before performing a lewd act.
The man then drove away in a silver sedan with tinted windows, last seen heading towards Wellington Road.
Investigators have released a digital image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, with silver hair, a medium build, olive complexion and is approximately 45 years old.
