Appeal for public assistance in Tingalpa, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate two boats and a caravan stolen from Tingalpa on January 2.

Around 12.30am, a man and a woman attended a business in Proprietary Street in a stolen white 2016 Nissan Navara with Queensland registration 892YSV and stole a black 1994 GS Marine Extreme boat with Queensland registration YF754Q (pictured).

Then at 2.15am, the man and the woman returned in the Nissan Navara and a black 2001 Holden Commodore utility with stolen Queensland registration plates 349YZJ and stole a green 2007 Polycraft Brumby boat with Queensland registration RK600Q (pictured) and a white 1997 Jayco camper trailer bearing Queensland registration 350UDV (pictured).

Investigations indicate the camper trailer has been modified and is now bearing stolen registration plates. It is believed the camper trailer was in the Darling Downs area around January 8.

On January 10, a 35-year-old Logan Village man was arrested and charged with six counts of stealing, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence and two counts of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The man will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates court on January 29.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who have information in relation to the whereabouts of the two stolen boats and camper trailer to contact police.
