Appeal for stolen painting valued at $120,000, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate after a painting valued at $120,000 was stolen during a break and enter on the Central Coast last month.

Between 2am and 10.30am on Wednesday 7 October 2020, an unknown number of persons forced entry to a Mount White home and stole a distinct artwork from the loungeroom of the premises.

The painting is estimated to be valued at $120,000.

Detectives from Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police have released an image of the stolen artwork and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the painting, or who may have knowledge of its whereabouts, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
