Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for public assistance after a motorcycle crash claimed the life of a man at Rothwell overnight.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 8.20pm a Honda motorcycle collided with a Toyota Corolla sedan at the intersection of Coman Street and Deception Bay Road.
The rider, a 23-year-old man was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, however was pronounced deceased shortly after midnight as a result of injuries sustain in the crash.
The car’s driver, a 25-year-old woman, was not physically injured.
Investigators would like to speak with any members of the public who may have witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage of the incident to contact police.
