Appeal to identify man after Flemington burglary

Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man following a burglary in Flemington earlier this month.

It is believed an unknown man gained entry to a unit on Canterbury Street about 7am on 2 September.

The man stole two samurai swords and a set of headphones before fleeing.

No one was home at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and was wearing a green puffer jacket, camouflage pants, white shoes and a red/black Fox Racing hat.

Anyone who recognises the man or with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
