Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney’s west.
Alexander Fargo, aged 87, was last seen on Canberra Street, St Marys, about 7.45am today (Thursday 20 August 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for Alexander’s welfare as he lives with dementia.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build and bald.
Alexander was last seen wearing a dark grey jacket and long blue pants.
He is believed to be travelling on foot around the St Marys and nearby areas.
