Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman reported missing from Sydney’s south.
Nichiko Wakeling, aged 82, was last seen at a shopping centre on Allsion Crescent, Menai, about 11.20am today (Saturday 27 June 2026).
When she could not be located, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.
Nichiko is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of a thin build with dark shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing black puffer jacket, dark-coloured pants, bright orange shoes and reading glasses.
