Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s north west.
Mohamed Kanneh, aged 57, was last seen on Richmond Road, Marsden Park about 4.30pm yesterday (Friday 28 August 2026), however made contact with family at 11.30pm the same day and has not been seen or heard from since.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Mohamed’s welfare.
He may appear disoriented and confused if approached.
Mohamed is described as being of African appearance, about 185cm tall, of large build with black hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue and black long sleeve shirt with black trousers.
Mohamed is known to frequent the Merrylands and Granville areas.
Following inquiries, police believe Mohamed may be in the Ropes Crossing area.
