Police are appealing for information following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s east.
Just before 4pm today (Wednesday 30 September 2026), emergency services were called to Craigend Street, Darlinghurst, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Kings Cross Police Area Command attended and were told a Yamaha motorcycle and a ute collided.
The ute left the scene prior to exchanging details and police arrival.
The rider – a 25-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for significant injuries to his hand and leg, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
As investigations by the Crash Investigation Unit continue, they would like to speak to the driver of the ute and believe they may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
The vehicle is described as being a brown/bronze tray backed ute travelling westbound on New South Head Road near the intersection of Barcom Avenue, Darlinghurst.
