Applecross armed robbery arrest

Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged two people after it is alleged they were involved in an armed robbery at a chemist in Applecross about 9.20am yesterday, 27 August 2019.

It is alleged weapons (not firearms), were used to threatened staff and a sum of cash and prescription medication were stolen.

A 35-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Stratton have been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and they are due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 28 August 2019.
