Applications for 2021 ABC’s Trailblazers program now open

ABC Trailblazers

The national ABC’s Trailblazers program celebrates young people who are driving positive social change projects in their regional communities.

Successful applications receive an incredible package of support that includes having their story told on the ABC, exclusive access to the Trailblazer Development Fund and an invitation to participate in the leadership building regional youth summit.

Who can apply to be a Trailblazer?

Individuals and groups of up to three, aged 18-28, who are initiating projects that create positive change in their communities can apply.

From young community leaders to social entrepreneurs, advocates to event organisers, the Trailblazer program looks for young people who are commited to making regional Australia even better.

What do Trailblazers receive?

  • The chance to have their work featured on the ABC.
  • Exclusive opportunities to apply for Trailblazer Development Fund grants, a partnership with the Sally Foundation and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.
  • Extensive networking, media and leadership opportunities.
