The Geelong Major Events Committee (GME) is seeking applications to fill three external committee member positions for a term commencing June 2022 and expiring May 2026.
Established in 1998, Geelong Major Events (GME) is a Delegated Committee of the City of Greater Geelong which has been created to support the attraction, assistance and funding of major events.
The GME committee includes external committee members to harness the skills, experience and networks of people ‘outside Council’. GME’s role is to attract and support Signature, Hallmark and Major events that will have a positive economic and social impact for Geelong.
Applications are sought from interested people with experience relevant to the events, arts, sports or business sectors. GME External Committee positions are voluntary.
All GME Committee positions are voluntary.
