APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR ROUND ONE OF TWO COMMUNITY FUNDS

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) is inviting community organisations to submit applications for a share of funds allocated in two of the community grants programs.

The Community Service Fund (CSF) supports projects and programs that deliver social, cultural or environmental benefits, while the Community Assistance Fund (CAF), which was previously called the Financial Assistance Program aims to ease the financial burden of not-for-profit organisations that contribute to creating or enhancing the well-being and amenity of our communities.

DRC’s Manager of Community Services Christy White said these grants help a range of groups secure resources and deliver valued activities and services to the community.

“I encourage community groups to look at potential activities and services they can have funded during the first round allocations for each of the grants programs for 2023/2024.”

“Each of these funds have very set criteria and applicants are invited to visit the website to look at the particular criteria for each grant to work out which is most suited to their organisation or activity,” Ms White said.

Applications are now open and close on Monday 31 July 2023. Eligible applications will be reviewed by an internal panel and considered by Council at its September 2023 meeting.
